The editor introduces the magazine with a vibrant picture of a young woman and a 2 zebras. The zebras could represent the colours "black and white". These colours represent old fashioned and a bit of wealth which leaks to this magazine.

The average is more towards the female side living in London and are aged at about 29.

Tatler are obsessed about fashion as they spent over £843 million on fashion. Plus, 93 percent of the readers own designer fashion.

Tatler targets wealthy women since there are so many female models on the cover and talk about beauty and spas.

It is a advanced language which only the their target audience can understand. For example, "MILLENNIAL SLOANES".

3) What are the connotations of the Tatler colour scheme on this particular front cover? 
The colours are pink and gold/yellow. The colour pink gives connotations of femininity and the colour gold gives connotations of wealth and power.

4) How is the central image designed to create interest in the magazine? Find three reasons for your answer. (E.g. Mise-en-scene such as props, costume and make-up, body position, facial expression)
This creates interest in the magazine because the women is dressed in a rich clothes which would make the viewer excited.

The groups that are represented on the cover are white and mostly represent women.

 The lifestyle of rich people are very luxury since they get invited the the best parties and can afford the new trends and items.

The stereotype of females are being reinforced here by how women are meant to look like.

4) What would be the preferred and oppositional readings to this cover of Tatler?

The preferred cover is for the audience to notice how posh this magazine is and buy it. The oppositional reading is that Tatler is very disrespect to other races and the poor people since they do not anything to do with them.

This shows that the life in Britain is very luxurious and very relaxing.

The groups that could be offended are lower class women since they might to be able to afford all the new things and how they are pressured into focusing on their appearance.

The problems are that there is a lack of beauty or problems like nothing posh on the cover.
